联发科12月份出货64位8核芯片MT6795

元器件交易网寻 8月4日消息，台湾电子时报报道，据联发科总裁谢清江透露，公司已将4G智能手机处理器出货量从先前的1500万提升至3000万片。谢清江称，联发科将在10月份开始增量产4G芯片MT6752和MT6732，1,2月份出货其64位8核芯片MT6795。

谢清江补充说，联发科也计划在明年早些时候发布下一代入门级4G处理器。

谢清江成随着联发科在第三季度芯片产线铺设完成，出货量环比增长，该季度公司营收预计将增加5-13%。

同时，联发科报告称第二季度净利润为125.5亿新台币（约合4.188亿美元），相比上季度增长23.8%，同比增长86.9%。每股净收益为8.03新台币。第二季度毛利润高达49.6%，环比增长1.3%，同比增长6.4%。

MediaTek hikes 4G smartphone solution shipment target for 2014

MediaTek has raised shipment targets for its 4G smartphone solutions for 2014 to 30 million units, from 15 million set previously, according to company president Hsieh Ching-chiang.

MediaTek will begin to ramp up production of its 4G chips, the MT6752 and MT-6732, in October and also start shipping its 64-bit 8-core chip, the MT6795, in December, Hsieh said.

MediaTek also plans to launch next-generation entry-level 4G solutions in early 2015, Hsieh added.

MediaTek"s revenues are expected to grow 5-13% in the third quarter as shipments of its complete line of chipset solutions in the quarter will be higher than those shipped in the previous quarter, Hsieh said.

Meanwhile, MediaTek also reported net profits of NT$12.55 billion (US$418.78 million) for the second quarter, up 23.8% sequentially and 86.9% on year. The earnings translated into an EPS of NT$8.03 for the quarter. Second-quarter gross margin arrived at 49.6%, up 1.3pp on quarter and 6.4pp on year.

For the first half of 2014, net profits totaled NT$22.69 billion or NT$14.85 per share.
